About UtahRUN

A shoe store that acts like a fitting room.

Every person who walks in here is different. It is not just your feet. It is the way you move, what hurts, what you are training for, and what you are hoping to get back. Our job is to care about all of it, because when we get that right, everything else follows. That is the whole store, honestly.

What we believe

Four things, and we run the store on them.

01

More evidence, not less

Some stores scan. Some watch you run. Some say the technology is a gimmick. We would rather have both sets of information and be able to explain what they mean.

02

The fitting is free on purpose

If we charged for it, we would be selling the fitting. We would rather sell you the right shoe once and have you come back for the next four pairs.

03

Say the real answer

Sometimes the honest answer is that your current shoes are fine, or that you need a doctor rather than a midsole. Those conversations cost us a sale and buy us a customer.

04

Everyone starts somewhere

Nobody who works here thinks you are too slow, too new, or too out of shape to be in a running store. Most of us remember being exactly that.

Everybody is unique. That is the whole point of a fitting.

Who started UtahRUN, and when

What was missing in Utah County that made it worth doing

The moment the scanner and treadmill became non-negotiable

This block stays empty until Mark tells the story in his own words. A fabricated founding narrative is the fastest way to lose the trust the rest of this page is built on.

What we can say today

We moved to Lindon. If you used to visit us in American Fork, we moved in January 2026, five minutes up the road, on State Street.

28 brands on the wall. Enough range that the fitting can go wherever your feet point, rather than wherever our stock does.

4.6 stars, 394 reviews. Not perfect. We would rather show you the real number and the reviews behind it.

"Im new to running and am not your traditional runner. I went in to have my feet scanned to determine what shoe would be best for me. The staff was incredible and super friendly / helpful. I got lined up with an amazing new shoe."
